mishinAlexey Mishin is one of the world’s most respected and celebrated figure skating coaches.  Three Olympic Champions came from Mishin’s magnificent group of skaters  – Alexey Urmanov, Alexey Yagudin and the 2006 Olympic Champion Evgeni Plushenko.

Alexey Mishin’s unique approach to figure skating techniques has allowed him to produce unsurpassed results with his students.  Presently, Alexey Mishin is working with numerous elite skaters and coaches from various countries to accelerate their skating careers to the level of excellence.

Professor Mishin has incorporated his Ph D. and 15 years of significant research in biomechanics and sports sciences into the development of his unprecedented training system.  Professor Mishin’s work has been published in numerous countries, such as Russia, Germany, Japan and others.

Since the late 90’s, Alexey Mishin has been conducting informative and successful seminars open to all levels of skaters around the world.  Skaters of all levels benefit from Alexey Mishin’s personality, coaching style and techniques that are customized to the specific needs of each individual skater.

Alexey Mishin’s evolving approach and innovative exploration of figure skating techniques and equipment have elevated the sport to a new level.
